This is our monthly text reading, led by the “Peach Blossom Spring Collective,” for my serious students in classical Chinese and members of my “Reading the Chinese Medicine Classics” membership. This generally happens on the fourth Thursday of the month at 9 am. Graduates of all three levels of my Triple Crown training program (Foundations, Diamond Core, and Medical Medley) get to run the show and lead discussion, while current Triple Crown students and members of my “Reading the Chinese Medicine Classics” mentorship are invited to contribute.

We are so very fortunate to also have honorary guests from all over the world, like Elisabeth Hsu, Sean Bradley, Arthur Harris, Leo Lok, Allen Tsaur, and Brenda Hood, participate actively. Their involvement turns each meeting into an incredible opportunity for highest level scholarly exchange and exploration. Every month, these meetings blow my mind and provide a tiny little silver lining to the evolution of online meetings that Covid forced on us and Zoom made possible.

Currently we are working through the beginning of the “Plain Questions” 素問 Sùwèn part of the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic 《黃帝內經》.
