I am delighted that you have decided to join me in this mentorship with the intention to read the classics of Chinese medicine and thereby connect more authentically to its roots!

If you are already an Imperial Tutor member, you know how my mentorships work and will find it easy to navigate this site. If not, please read the “Home” post closely.

You will receive two things each week via email:

1. Every 7 days, you get a weekly post for your individual journey, which I ask you to read carefully. I hope that it inspires you to study and perhaps follow up with some of the suggestions that I have included in the post, from silly videos to getting a set of calligraphy brushes or setting up translation tools on the computer. Other members receive this series of posts in the same sequence whenever they sign up, but not at the same time as you get yours.

2. For the first four Sundays each month, every member gets emailed a “weekly challenge” in this order: 1: an individual character; 2: A four-character saying 成語; 3: A medical quote; and 4: A “mystery quote” from some other classical source. You are invited to explore the meaning, study and learn with each other, and share your thoughts and findings with your fellow members as comments to the post.
